Nursery

“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 19:14

We love and value our children and we love the sounds of life in our midst.

All children are welcome to be with their parents in worship. But we also know that being a parent of little one(s) can be exhausting, and at Christ the King, we love to serve you every Sunday morning in the nursery during our 10:00 a.m. worship service.

Nursery Check-In

You can check-in your 3 month to 4 year old child before the Sunday morning service downstairs in the nursery. You can trust that they will be cared for in a safe, nurturing, and Christian environment.

  1. All of the volunteers and workers in our children’s ministry have completed background checks and MinistrySafe training.
  2. We will always have at least two certified adults in the nursery.
  3. Our space, toys, and surfaces in the nursery are clean.
  4. When you check your child in, you will receive a sticker with a code that matches the code on your child’s name tag.
  5. You will need your sticker with a code that matches your child’s code in order to check them out of the nursery.

“Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me.”

Matthew 18:1–5

What if I’m late?

Getting out the door on Sunday mornings with young children should be an Olympic sport! We want you to know that we are praying for you specifically every Sunday morning.

If you’re late, our volunteers and workers are ready to check in your child at any point during the service. Many of our members actually prefer to keep their littles with them at the beginning of the service and will check them out before the Eucharist (so that they can share our family meal with us).
