Gathering Together

We receive from the Lord so that we can give to others. Centrally, we gather on the Lord’s Day to feast with Jesus and all the saints, throughout the Christian year on Holy Days, and throughout our weeks in homes for prayer, Bible reading, and deepening love for God and for others.

Most gatherings throughout the week are not “official” CtK gatherings. We support mission through Green Leaf, in our homemaking, in our schooling, through Young Life, and countless other Christian vocations. We are a people who worship God with our living and working, all for God’s glory and for the life of the world around us.

Prayer gatherings are simple, rhythmic gatherings for praying and being together. These can be in homes, in public spaces, or at CtK. They can be for all comers, or they can be targeted for a specific group of people. Maybe you’d like to gather young moms and kiddos over for family prayer once-a-month on a Saturday morning. Maybe a small, weekly Tuesday night Evening Prayer or Lectio Divina gathering is what your soul craves.

Let us know if you’d like to host a prayer gathering.

Study groups last for 6-8 weeks, usually going through a book of the Bible or a book. Maybe once-a-month hosting doesn’t work or you, and you’d rather study a book of the Bible for 6 weeks huddled by a cozy fire in the Winter.

Let us know if you’d like to host a study group.

Whether you’re hosting young adults on your back deck for an 8-week Springtime Bible Study or you’re gathering for morning prayer weekly at The Chocolate Moose, we want the hospitality of Jesus to multiply into all of our lives.
